Registration Closes: July 31st at 10:00 pm EST

 

Registration Fee: $150 registration fee per player. Cards will not be charged until confirmation of entry into the field. All late entries will be accepted onto the waiting list. Any late entries accepted into the field will experience a $20 late fee charge. 

 

Format: 36 Hole Maximum Score Stroke Play Event. The maximum score for a hole is 10. Players are asked to pick up if they reach the maximum score. 

 

Eligibility: Open to all male and female golfers, professional and amateur. All players must have a valid WR4GD pass and an active World Handicap System GHIN Index. Additionally, those with intellectual impairments will also need to obtain a Virtus II1 International Eligibility. For information about WR4GD passes, please visit: edgagolf.com/online/pass. Field Size: 60 players

 

 

Starting Times: Both rounds of the competition will have a start time of 8 AM.

 

Automotive Transportation: All players and caddies will be provided their own cart, the cost of which was included in the registration fee. Players have the option to take a cart, carry their bag, bring their own caddie or request a caddie.

 

Caddies: Caddies are permitted for this event.  

 

Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to overall male and female champions, along with male and female first place finishers in each respective division. $3,500 in proshop credit will additionally be awarded.

 

Ties: Ties for the male and female overall champions will be decided by a sudden death playoff. All other ties within each respective division will be broken by using the USGA-recommended scorecard tiebreaking method. 

 

SoloRider/Paramobile Request: The Golf Association of Philadelphia has the ability to provide SoloRiders and Paramobiles. Advanced notice is required. Please email akittelson@gapgolf.org with your request. Limited carts available.

Division and Flights: The Inaugural GAP Adaptive Championship will consist of divisions based upon both USAGA Sport Classes and the USGA Adaptive Open Eligible Impairments.  

 

Yardages and Tees: Official Yardages have been posted for to the event. Please note that these yardages are subject to change based on course condition. You can view the scorecards for Lookaway Golf Club and Doylestown Country Club under the player's information tab. 

 

Yardage Books: Yardage Books are available for purchase in the proshops.

Refund Policy: Individuals who have submitted entry for the GAP Adaptive Championship and wish to withdraw for any reason MUST notify Anna Kittelson at akittelson@gapgolf.org. Withdrawals prior to the close of entry will be subjected to a $20 administration fee. Withdrawals after close of entry and more than 30 days before the event can expect a 75% refund. Withdrawals after close of entry and more than 7 days before the event can expect a 50% refund. No refund request will be honored within 7 days of the start of the event except for medical withdrawals or death in your immediate family.
